LTA Agency, in cooperation with Broadcast Facility Providing Inc. and Enda Sports, are proud to present the first annual International Women’s Tournament of Champions staged on the Turkish Riviera in March 2011.
The tournament will host 4 of the best women’s football club teams in the world – champions of the USA, Sweden, Russia, and Denmark, and it will have an unprecedented TV coverage. It will be broadcast live in High Definition (HD) on TV across the globe on Fox Soccer Channel, Eurosport 2, and Eurosport Asia-Pacific.
Over ten Turkish channels will also broadcast the event, and Fashion TV will run 5-minute highlights of the tournament 50 times in March and April internationally.

SKY BLUE FC
SKY BLUE FC from New Jersey is one of the top teams in the American Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) League considered one of the best Leagues in the world. Sky Blue FC are the 2009 WPS Champions.

FK Energiya Voronezh
FK ENERGIYA VORONEZH is the only football team that has managed to win the Women’s Premier League in Russia 5 times and the Russian Cup 7 times. FK Energiya is 2 times quarter-finalists in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, and they will again participate in Europe’s top competition in 2011.

LDB Malmö
LDB FC MALMÖ is the most celebrated Swedish women’s football team. Malmö has played 22 seasons in the Damallsvenskan (Women’s Premier Division in Sweden) and has won the league 6 times amongst them in 2010, which makes Malmö the reigning national champions and 2011-2012 UEFA Women’s Champions League participants.

Fortuna Hjorring
FORTUNA HJØRRING is the biggest and the most successful women’s football club in Denmark. Fortuna are the reigning champions of Denmark and have won a total of 7 Danish Championships and 7 Danish Cup titles. Apart from this, Fortuna was in the final of the UEFA Women’s Cup in 2003 and will again participate in the UEFA Women’s Champions League in 2011.

| 2011 International Tournament of Champions Official Stadium Unveiled |
New stadium in the Turkish resort town of Alanya will play host to the Inaugural International Women’s Tournament of Champions pitting 4 of the best club teams in the world.
Brand new Alanya Oba Stadyumu, tucked away in a picturesque spot overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, will stage all four internationally televised matches involving the current or former champions of the USA, Russia, Sweden, and Denmark in March 2011.

The 15,000 capacity all-seater soccer specific stadium was inaugurated last month with a friendly match between Turkish giants Galatasaray of Istanbul and high-flying German Bundesliga side Hannover 96. It is the future new home of the local team Alanyaspor.
Sky Blue FC of New Jersey, FK Energiya Voronezh, LdB FC Malmö, and Fortuna Hjørring will showcase their squads full of international talent during March 17-19 Tournament of Champions in Alanya. Often referred to as ‘The Pearl of the Turkish Riviera,’ on the coast of the Mediterranean and bordered by the breathtaking Taurus Mountains, Alanya is a fitting venue for the top-level international women’s football tournament.
